In this candid conversation, Soumya Sukumaran shares her journey through classical dance, the values she upholds, and her vision for the future of Indian performing arts.
OUR VISION
At Kalanjali Foundation, our vision is to empower lives through the transformative power of classical arts. We aim to preserve, promote, and innovate within the rich traditions of Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, and Kuchipudi — while making them accessible and inclusive for all, irrespective of background or identity.
We envision a future where art becomes a bridge between tradition and progress, where every dancer’s voice is heard, and where culture inspires social harmony, equality, and awareness.

Nurture and train students in Indian classical dance forms with discipline, authenticity, and creativity.
